When you think about hiring a Virtual Assistant (VA), one of the biggest questions is: 

"What will it actually be like to work together?" So I thought I'd share a little behind-the-scenes peek at how I work with my clients at KMVirtualAssistant - From that first message, all the way to our weekly rhythm. 

Whether you are considering hiring your first VA or just curious about the process, here is what you can expect. 

Step 1: The discovery call (No Pressure just a chat)

We start with a 30 minute discovery call, either by phone or zoom (your preference), I learn about your business, what you are struggling with, and where I might be able to help. This isn't a pushy call, it's a chance for you to share your concerns and ask what you like. You are not tied in at any point. 

Step 2: A Personalised Support Plan

After the call, I will follow up with an email, this will summarise what we have discussed, how I can support you, what the next steps will look like. I like to keep things flexible - whether you need help for a few hours a week or something more regular, we will find a rhythm that works. 

Step 3: Getting Set Up

Once we have agreed to start, hours have been decided, money has been paid, we'll set up access to anything I'll need (like your inbox, calendar, or social platforms). I use secure methods to keep everything private and personal and I'm happy to guide you through anything you are unsure about. 

Step 4: Your New Normal

Once I'm in your corner, I'll keep you updated (usually by email or a shared workspace). You will know what I am working on, what is coming up and how much time I have used - there are no surprises and I offer full transparency. 

Step 5: Breathing Room 

My Favourite part - When clients say they have their weekend back or they don't dread opening their inbox anymore. That is when you know the VA magic is working.
