You have got your business going and that is exciting, you are doing well. But it is exhausting, your to do list keeps growing, your time is stretching, and it is getting to the point where you cannot physically and mentally do it all. This is not failing, it might just be time to get support. Here are five signs you could benefit from a Virtual Assistant (VA).

  1. You're spending more time on admin tasks than on your business - If you're spending your time going through emails, checking your calendar, chasing bookings instead of focusing on clients or focusing on your business, it might be time to pass some of these tasks on. A VA can do all these tasks for you; I can make it more streamlined so you can come into work and now exactly what you are doing for the day.
  2. Your inbox is too full - If you are constantly checking your emails, spending most of the morning going through your new emails, replying to clients, deleting junk. This could be a sign you need to pass this task on. You could be using this time to be doing business work or talking to your clients. A VA will go through your emails, so you only have to deal with the urgent emails each day.
  3. You forget appointments or have to rush to get to appointments - You have a call/email with a client and book a meeting, you say to yourself I need to put that in my calendar so I don't forget it, you get distracted, you forget, you miss the meeting. Does this sound like you? A VA will put all meetings in your diary for you, will put travel time, will book in time for meeting prep and send you reminders.
  4. You are doing tasks you do not enjoy or not good at - Proofreading, customer replies, Canva posts, appointment follow-ups, all important jobs but not what you started your business to do. As a VA it is my job to these tasks for you then you can do the tasks you did start a business for.
  5.  You are not ready for an employee but need help - Hiring staff is a big step, you need to have office space, you need HR, and you may need to think about training. With a VA you have the flexibility to get the support you need without the overheads, you can pay for a one off or ongoing.

Again, you are not failing by hiring a VA, you are getting support because your business is expanding, and you can no longer do it alone. If even one of these sounds like how you feel, I would love to have a chat about how I can help.
